So, it looks like I am moving to Saint John NB this summer.

Are there any good shooting ranges there?

Not sure what I'll do about my username - whitbyman just doesn't sound right when you live in Saint John, lol :)

Talk to Billy the Kid and Abman. They can hook you up for places to shoot.

What brings you to SJ? I moved here from S. Ont. in 1985.

I hope you like SJ better then i do haha. I moved here 2 years ago cause the wife took a transfer for work. Joined the local club so that might relieve the pressure!:D

I am in a similar situation, wife accepted a position at the Hospital. We are originally from the maritimes, for her SJ is home.

My family is in Halifax, so we will be closer to them as well.

Anyway - time to get out of Ontario.

Was out today to the range for a drive....tried the key to make sure it worked. Was gonna go in for a drive but the road was a lil soggy... i think it would dry up good if it would stop raining for 5 mins hahaha
 
I bought a home in Rothesay, everything is looking good for a move at the end of June.

Looking forward to joining the local shooting club.

Congrats on escaping onterible. Saint John is one of my favorite working destinations.

The biggest gunstore in NB is in McAdam. Very good selection, but you'll find that you'll do most your shopping on the EE right here on CGN and/or through mailorder. I think the club in Hampton does group buys from Higginsons if your needing powder or primers and such.

What is your shooting interest?

I shoot pistol and rifle targets. I will be going hunting for the first time this fall. I have a lot of in-laws in the area who have agreed to take me out. I also do some reloading, even though not as much as I would like, because I never seem to have enough time. :)

I find buying online to be very convenient and have purchased stuff from many of the sponsors of this site. Will have to check the gunstore out in McAdam.
