Whitworths - comments, experiences, recommendations??

I'd normally search before posting, but we can't right now so here goes:

Would like to hear from anyone who has owned or does own a Whitworth repro, or original for that matter.

Do the repros shoot as well, are the earlier Parker-Hales better than the later repros?

I've always had a hankering for one, that and a reproduction Ferguson...
 
I had a early Parker Hale and it shot fine but in a weak moment sold it, I have since then got original parts for a Whitworth rifle and have been working on putting it together.
I also have a Gibb's match rifle but have not taken the time to shoot it

Last summer a guy at our club was shooting a Pedersoli Gibbs and it shot very good.

The Euroarms Whitworth rifles are imported by Loyalist Arms, as special order items. They require a 50% deposit, their next shipment will be in March, so order now, you may still be in time for the March shipment. They also special order, the 2 and 3 band Volunteer rifles, with Henry rifling. The price I was quoted was $1014, plus $53.00 GST plus shipping.
