Hello all,

Does anyone know of a vendor that can have a restricted HK USC converted to non-restricted status by changing the 16 inch barrel to a 18.5 inch? I searched without luck but I know I have seen someone have the conversion done here in Canada on the forum.

Are longer barrels available somewhere or are we talking about something custom that must be made?

Thanks for looking.

Yep. Those are your two choices. I thought of doing it but went the other way and went to a UMP barrel. Be warned the replacement 19" you will get will not be poly rifled or cold hammer forged like the HK brand.

Ellwood Epps also can make 19" barrels for the HK USC for around $450. But its a 5-6 month process
Brian are you still looking for a factory 16" HK USC barrel?

Get the dlask one, I got one for my USC45. You can ship the gun there and they'll do it for you.

I would get them to do it, rather than wait for a custom made one, as a verifiers report should take 1-2 weeks* to officially re-classify it (longer for it to be removed from the registry). No reason to wait for 5-6 months for a backlog.

*Having done so before after ordering a Dlask barrel from the company I previously worked for and re-classifying it with their verifier. Called the CFC gals and they confirmed it was non-restricted after only a week, but it takes longer for it to be removed from the actual registry.
