That will cost more than the gun is worth but any smith should be able to do that.Might be cheaper to get a beater barrel with a poly-choke on it and transplant it.

Probably a stupid question but on a fixed choke barrel once you cut it what are you left with ?Anybody that is handy can do it . I have done Dozens , yes dozens in my life.
Easiest way is to mark the line with a pipe cutter & then cut through with hacksaw.
Then smooth out with a few different files & finish off with emery paper.
Then you need the correct tap for the bead you want . Available from Brownells .
I Suggest the biggest ,,,, 6 X 48 .
Install with a drop of blue loctite & file off extra inside bore .

Cutting any shotgun barrel will remove all choke . Then you have Cyld. Bore , good to about 25 yds. max. with shot.
Good idea, ThanksIf you are going to cut off a shotgun barrel yourself and replace the bead, use the original bead (if it is properly centered) to align and mark where the hole for the new one is going to be before you cut.
It can be quite difficult to mark top dead centre on the cut barrel just by eye.
I’m thinking of just shortening it now, seems a lot to re-chokeMany of you did not read the original post...
Anyone know who would shorten and re bead/ re choke a Winchester 37A
The re choke is the tricky part...
Tubes can be installed but the smith doing that needs to measure the inside and outside diameters and how concentric they are before deciding on what tubes can be done...
