My stainless 1911 has some holster rash/wear on the slide,

My 1911 is that dull grey Stainless, looking to have it bead blasted and sides of the slide polished

I was referred to "Gravel Agency" because they do warranty work on the make of my 1911,

but I have come across "Armco" as a good place as well.

THOUGHTS? Who should I go with? Who can I trust to do a good job?

AAmco does gun bluing?
I thought they worked on transmissions for cars?
I was going to recommend Barry J, but he is not a site sponsor and a few have had issues in the past with him.
I have nothing but good things to say about him though.
Others more knowledgeable should be along shortly, but I would get a quote from Gravel first before sending my gun anywhere that requires Canada Post to deliver .
Just my .02 worth,
Rob

AAmco???? that is not what he asked about.
The other, you will have to phone him, and that can be a chore sometimes.
If all you want done is the flats of the slide done, you don't have to bead blast it, just polish them with a dead flat plate and
compound, and lots of time and arm work

I'm having Armco do the work, bead blast frame and top of slide, buff/polish sides
