Who does Nickel plating on firearms?

I'm looking to get some nickel plating done in around lower mainland vancouver, on couple shot guns. I wanted to know are there any plating shops recommended that handle guns?

Not really... a federal firearms business license is required... so those businesses that do bumper plating, etc are out...

And you don't want electro plating on a firearm either...

Not sure about nickel in particular but I've seen Dlask guns that were chromed. He's your best place to start.

Otherwise use http://www.arma-coat.ca/. They have a stainless steel finish that could probably be buffed up pretty bright but with none of the drawbacks of plating.

Nickel plating is 19th Century technology that doesn't work well for rust prevention. Certainly not for salt air protection.
"...businesses that do bumper plating, etc are out..." Yep. The old days are gone forever. Used to be that you could have stuff like that done in any shop that did it.
