I've got a 6ppc. I'd originally wanted a 6br - and I'll probably make one, one day - but so far the 6ppc seems very promising. I picked up a Sako A1 in 6ppc. It's very lightweight and handy for a 'carrying around' gun, but still very very accurate.
The thing with varminting is that you don't NEED extreme accuracy for the most part. You don't need to be able to group under an inch at 300 yards to hit a gopher, and past 300 yards, the PPC is a poor choice in any case.

I've got one, I think it is great. I put a boyds thumbhole stock on it, (charcoal) glassbedded the action, timney trigger, it shoots very well.
Mine is on the Mini Mauser action. I think the work was done by Corlanes.
As for shooting, if I do my part, sub MOA.

I don't have a 22 PPC but I do have a Sako heavy barrel singleshot in 6mm PPC. It is a tackdriver. I use 60 grn V Max bullets for long range gopher shooting and lets just say a 200 yard head shot is not even a challenge.
Providing the wind is low, I don't have too much trouble hitting them out to 400 yards if I do my part. My Sako will average .4 MOA or less for 5 shots. The factory Sako ammunition "when it was still available" was almost as accurate as my handloads but the 70 grn hollowpoint bullets were pretty much useless for varmints as they were accurate but didn't open up worth crap past about 75 yards. That being said though, as far as getting a rifle built in PPC, unless it was going to be a benchrest rifle I likely would go for .223 instead if varminting was the plan. Yes the PPCs are accurate BUT brass is expensive and can be tough to get sometimes, and a custom built varmint rig with match grade barrel in .223 "or any other common similar cartridge" would be almost as accurate with much better and cheaper availability of brass and when the wind is blowing that extra 1/10 MOA does not mean much if anything.

Where I shot a 5-shot 0.433" group with my sporter-weight barrel 6ppc Sako. Edge to edge.
Couldn't yet tell you what the *average* accuracy is with this load, I only had the 5 rounds loaded.
