I have four.
One 22 with 8" barrel, two 357 Mag with 8" barrel and my all time favorite ported 44 Mag with 8" barrel. All are very nicely blued. All shoot better than I am able.
Not wanting to hi-jack this thread, but Silverback can you tell me what type of rings you used to mount your scope. Want to mount a scope on one of the 357's.

I have two, both stainless, ones a 44 Mag and the other is a 445 SuperMag. I took the 445 SuperMag out a couple months ago to shoot an IDPA match and the muzzle flash ended up melting the baracades.

They are Redfield rings made to clamp on the rib on the barrel shroud, unfortunately I don't think that they are available any more. It is a 3 ring system and it has held up perfectly for a long time, you might be able to find a used set. I checked online and Weigand and B-Square currently make mounts for Dan Wesson revolvers.

Silverback, thanks for the scope info. I've now a starting point from which to search for rings. Keep me posted if you happen to find any rings.

As for the answer to the 22, all my Dan Wessons are blued 8" with full underlugs. Really solid and very accurate. I bought one at an auction for next to nothing and the other three I purchased from the estate of a member of our club.

I like Dan Wesson revolvers. Being able to swap different barrels is a cool idea. I also really like the Dan Wesson 1911s, and hope to buy a .45 CBOB in the future. They like to be fondled.
