who has a new basic cz 858 in stock?

wolverine has the 858 but the problem is they are blocked a the custom for a very long time so , if your lucky you will find one before this shipment come , or buy the CSA but it will not be the same , be patient guys
 
Is there any official reason why new CZ858's are unavailable ?

I too heard a shipment had been impounded but it's nothing more than hearsay.

It is not hearsay. It is a fact that they are impounded. They are currently unavailable because the RCMP believe that some of the shipments that came into Canada in the past potentially might be converted full autos. If that is the case, then they are prohibited firearms. Wolverine has a large shipment full of 858's in a customs warehouse sitting there racking up storage fees for them while the RCMP does their homework. The RCMP will not allow these firearms into Canada at this time.

If you read between the lines of what I just said you might conclude there is a possibility of the government doing a CZ 858 reclassification and possible confiscation in the near future. That is a believe many people hold. Wether it happens, time will tell.
