I'm not saying he did. I'm adding clarity so that people know what they are potentially buying. I don't even know what they mean by M17. I think it's how they are identifying their Gen3 stock but I'm not sure.

Police Ordnance still offers this deal, I think they're the only ones in Canada. I believe the bare bones price of a Gen 3 with fixed sights was $505 plus tax and shipping. Call them for a quote.

I actually lol'ed at the "no sale sports" bit. I can't imagine anywhere being any worse than the one here in Stoon. Half the shelves are empty I swear. They might as well shut down as soon as Cabelas opens up their new store in May
I believe that deal was over at the end of Dec/2011 I emailed them about the deal back in the late summer of 2011 then called them in Feb2012 finally ready to buy one & was told the program is over & no longer offered in Canada.
I'm surprised they told you that because I just picked up my Gen4 Glock 17 from Police Ordnance... It took less than 3 days from the day I paid to the day I picked up...

So you have to be LE or Military to buy from Police Ordnance? They have G17 RTF2s in stock but wont sell them to civilians

I believe Tactical Ordnance Inc. is the civilian branch run by the same person (Casey). You should call or e-mail him.

Police Ordnance offers the Glock Individual Officer Program. Here's a description off their website.

Okay, it really is that simple because Glock supports the military personnel this way. I've been telling all the soldiers and sailors I come in contact with! Seems to me like a nice gesture for their/our service.
Now if SIG could only follow suit.....

From my understanding, you're only allowed to buy one handgun per year so people don't abuse the privilege... Now if SIG or Beretta had a similar type of deal I would definitely consider a steel frame handgun also...
