Who has CZ Scouts in stock?

Prophet River has the new 455. I wanted one but changed my mind when I saw the price!

I don't think you will find anyone left selling new 452 versions. Might luck out on the EE though.

Keep checking all the dealers listed here, Contact Wolverine and see if the importer has any left. (452) Definitely one gun in my safe that has a no sale sticker on it :)

Weber & Markin gunsmiths have a 452 scout 22lr (new) for 575$ Kelowna BC.

They still have this one? I would have thought it would have been gone a long time ago when mentioned they had one last summer. I picked one up to give to my sons for Xmas, as they had two. Nice little shop, btw.

It’s was listed in the newest gun newspaper that came in the mail yesterday.

Thanks everyone. I ended up getting the 455 scout from prophet river. They were negotiable on the price so we came to a deal. Not sure I love the new threaded end of barrel on the 455 but I couldn’t find a new 452. I’m sure I will enjoy it regardless :)

Enjoy your purchase any pics?

Rifle arrived and it is very nice. I own a 455 varmint so expected the quality to be equally high, and it was. The barrel OD is larger then I expected, which is a qood thing. Not a bull by any means but definitely not a standard .22LR OD. The threaded barrel for suppressor is fine. Would rather it not have it considering we can’t use it for it’s intended purpose here in Canada. The thread protector is steel and the knurling is very aggressive. The LOP is only 12” and with a 16.5” barrel it is quite a compact gun. Will be great as a pack/atv gun or just carrying. I’ll likely put a spacer or long recoil pad on to extend the stock 1.5”. Is fine with open sights but will be too short for a scope which is what I intend to put on it. Overall it is a another quality firearm from CZ. I will post pics shortly.

Congrats I'm sure your going to have great results with it..and it will maintain it's value if it's like other CZ's

I mounted a Burris Timberline on my sons' Scout and I can use it with the short LOP - it has a tight eyebox. I did have to drift out the back sight, which is easy enough to do.

Thanks for the info. That looks like the 452 scout. I bought the 455 scout. They changed the sights on the 455. In addition to a different rear/front sights the front sight hood is MUCH larger. For a scope that low I would definitely need to remove both the rear and front hood. No biggie I suppose.

The front hood on CZ's pop off really easy. A lot of people remove them anyways, thinking they block peripheral view and for less to catch while in the bush. And yes, mine is a 452 not a 455, I didn't know the sights were different. Nonetheless, you could consider offset rings or a longer rail and push the scope ahead a bit and keep the shorter LOP if you so wish.
