Who has good bulk deals for 22lr?

Just saw Winchester 333 box at LeBaron's Ottawa for $12.94 on special.
Marginally cheaper than 555 at Wal-Mart.
These were hollow point so definitely "assault rounds" with potential of "ricochet".

Why on earth anyone would need more than 100 rounds on hand is beyond me.
You guys need to stop shooting and read a good book.

The federal 525 is cheaper by the box at cabelas at $22.99 instead of $24 of canadian tire

I haven't seen Fed 525 @ CT for less than ~$25.99 (what the link shows me) in ages, which doesn't mean much since they get aproximately 2 boxes a year. Wally World is usually a buck cheaper than CT, but again restocking is spotty at best.
Cabelas $95 gig is a pretty good deal if you need the can. And who doesn't need the can?!?! 22.99 a box is the best I've seen in a while, if you are into buying one at a time. They are still showing stock, which means they must have had a mountain of it. Who knows how long that will last.
As for screaming deals - If you can find them, I think they are only going to be small local deals for the next year or so. All the big boys have or are in the process of raising prices. As one dealer succinctly put it - " Firearmageddon continues..."

I got 50rd. black dog drum clips, that I could only load 2 or 3 times, with a hundred rds.

Love my 50 round drum and 25 round BC mags. At the last range outing, testing various types of rounds I went through almost 1000 rounds. Found the BC mags where fine with all types so long as not too much waxy buildup. The 50 round drum only fed 40gr lead round nose reliably.

A ton of it at the Saskatoon cabelas. They have almost a pallet in ammo cans on the floor and a sh!t load of single boxes on the shelf.

Just purchased a couple bricks of Blazer and American Eagle today.
According to the salesperson (a well respected guns shop in Alberta)...their last ammo order had an awful lot of backorders and they were told to expect very little .22 ammo this summer.
Oh...and to expect a 10-15% increase soon.
Buy now boys and girls...buy now.

$18.88 for 525 Federals at my hometown Co-op, SE Sask. Western Sask likely has the same sale on. Got a buddy in SK, get him to buy some.
