Norc mags are actually quite good.
I was on Northern Republic's website earlier in the day and they listed 30/5 mags as being in stock.
As with all Norc products quality is hit or miss and one out of five working isn't acceptable.
30/5 mags are rare, they don't even have a listing for them. could you please provide a link?
Still on NR's website: h ttp://northernrepublicmagazine.com/products/triple-k-m14
I must have gotten lucky with the Norinco mags then. I have a dozen of them and they all work perfectly fine.

Corwin Arms out of BC usually has the 5/20's in stock. Made in Germany I beleive, either way I have used them many times and they run flawless.
One key aspect of reliability of a firearm is the magazine. Top quality rifle, precision hand loads, crap magazine equals failures. The Corwin mags are outstanding, they make the Norinco one's look like soda can's. My rate of failure has significantly dropped since swapping to the Corwin magazines and that is using the Norinco copper washed ammo, which is far from precision!
Highly recommended, when they come back in stock, buy as many as you need.
Candocad.
PS: Corwin are great to deal with too, a quality company.
