Looks like a nice press, a while back I heard a place had really good prices on these. Anyone know who?

Thanks

Great press, I have one. Get enough bushings to do every die you have and will have, great system. Higginson's can get it for you if he doesn't have one in stock last I heard.

Think of it as a 650lite.

I also used to have the Pro-Jector (and just bought another one for my brother).

The only issues with the older press were the primer system and the powder measure. Both deficiencies have been addressed with the new L'n'L

I also have a Hornady L-N-L AP. I've only set it up, but haven't loaded any rounds yet (hopefully this weekend). The only thing that seems finicky so far is that little wire that ejects the loaded cartridges into the side bin. The instructions claim that loaded rounds will eject easier than empty brass. I guess we'll see.

I recommend that you grease the feed pawls on the bottom side of the press once you have it set up. I could see where the metal was getting worn from testing out the indexing action during setup.

Here's my post from a while back where I described my decision making process in deciding to buy the Hornady. In there is the contact information where I bought mine.

During Christmas, I had a chance to have a close look at a Dillon 550 and 650 at P&D Ent in Edmonton. I didn't load any ammo, so I can't comment on that, but I can say that my Hornady is built out of heavier material. Is that significant? I can't say without doing a fair test of both machines. I will say that I like the Dillon "strong mount" and wish Hornady had the same or similar as you'll need a fairly tall reloading bench to compensate for the length of the handle-swing as you move the ram to the topmost position.
