Who has success with scoping their m14s?

Yes, several.

The Falcon on it now seems to be holding up though.

The falcon still runs strong for me. Got it bolted on a sadlak aluminum mount, secured with purple loctite (they give a vial of 220MS i think) No wandering zero, loosening or whatever. Shoots real nice too.

Wow. That's a tough customer to please.

The only obvious scope failure I've seen was on a Zeis, when the crosshairs rotated. The subtle problems are like sorting pepper from fly####.

Been using the UTG Tri-Rail, YHM 6" cantilever mount and Scope is a Millett DMS-1 1-4x with NcStar 30mm Weaver Ring, no problems so far, still holding zero .....

I've had a Dlask mount for the last 5 years with no problems at all... dont know the model number.. bought it for 40 bucks at a gun show.. only has one allen screw into the side of the receiver, nothing attached to the stripper guide or anywhere else for that matter..

i've got a 3-9 x 40 bushnell "trophy" scope.. hasn't let me down yet.

I must be the only guy using a Springfield 3rd mount. I used Loctite when I installed it years ago and it has been just awesome. I couldn't justify the price of an ARMS mount.

What scope are you using, and how many rounds have you put through it?

I'm using an ARMS 18 mount, medium ARMS 22 throw lever rings (with 1 inch insert) and a 3x9 Trijicon Accupoint (with red triangle). I've put almost a thousand rounds through my rifle with this set-up and it works great! I like the trijicon scopes because of the Bindon Aiming Concept and the ability to use it with both eyes open. My rifle is also used for hunting so it's great for the close in shots and I'm comfortable shooting out to 300 yards accurately.

I've been using a SA 3rd gen mount an a Leatherwood ART scope, it was hell to get dialed in but now its there an has been staying there with no problems even with getting beat around in the bush here in my area.

I almost hate to admit it, but I use a cheap real cheap 3x9x40. For some damn reason it works great. I have easily put at least a couple thousand through it. Having the mount secured with a good loctite adhesive seems to have made the difference. It has been to the range and hunting, so it's not like I handle it with kid gloves either.
