I remember when my $20 DCRA membership allowed me to shoot a service match with everything provided!

i went shooting today, american eagle 150 grain fmj's were going for 20.99 per box...cheap for factory ammo, nearest i could find was 180 grain remington softpoints for 22.99 at le baron and bass pro

I remember those prices, for .303 British..

I scored several battle packs of SA from TSE for $45/140 a couple of years ago, unfortunately those times are gone. In this climate $218 for 200 commercial in Federal brass isn't so bad. I haven't fired any of my SA yet but if I'm not mistaken it's berdan primed so unreloadable.

I've got a 1000 rnd case of the good stuff for sale. Portuguese 7.62x51 FMJ. $1000. Was getting 1/2" groups at 100yards out of my savage with another case of it.

Del Selins in Vernon has a few cases of South African 7.62 x 51. Limit two per customer, they say, and the price has gone up as supplies have dwindled, now $98 per 140. I picked up two, but the guy there said they were moving fast.

I should take some to the Frederiction Gun Show this weekend. I can't shoot my FNs or Galil, and my 7.62 M1 hasn't had a round through it this year.
