Who has the best deal on ammo kits

My limit for a new kit is $500.00. Plus extras
I will be reloading 40 and 45 ACP handgun ammunication.
Currently I shoot appox 800 rounds per month.
Which Company or kit would a first time user first choice?

If you only ever plan to reload pistol ammo with it, go with the dillon. If you plan to load rifle ammo or accuracy is your most important consideration, go with a Forster Co-ax press and add extras as required.

Since you won't be buying a Hornady or Dillon AP (kit) for $500 I'd recommend you go with the Lee. There are many happy campers on CGN who love their Lee setups.

If after a year or two you decide you want one of the fancier AP's, which will produce your monthly requirement in little over an hour, the gear and tools you buy to support the Lee will still serve you well and my bet is that your Lee press will remain part of your reloading operation. "The only thing better than a good press is two of em " .
