Im looking to pick up some non corrosive 7.62x39. Somewhere between 300 and 500 rounds. Im curious who has the best deal out there? Is there one type of non-corrosive bulk much better then the next? Or is it all pretty much the same?

IMHO the Barnaul brand FMJ 7.62x39mm from Tenda (500 rounds) is the best non-corrosive deal at the moment. I've been shooting it in my two bolt-action 7.62x39 rifles, the Zastava M85 and Sabatti Rover 600 without any problem whatsoever and with a pretty good accuracy. Tenda also has a soft-point Barnaul which is more expensive than FMJ.
All non-corrosive ammo available in Canada is practically pretty much the same.

The OP wants 300 to 500 rounds. Correct me if I'm wrong but Canada Ammo do not sell 500 rd only 1000.

I know what you mean. Lever Arms? If so, I bought that ammo a couple years ago and honestly, it was not so bad. I didn't do a nail test but I didn't clean on purpose my SKS for a week or so after shooting and there was no visible rust. At the worst it was very mildly corrosive. It seems that some batches had worse primers and some better ones.
Now Lever Arms smartened up and advertise their surplus as non-corrosive but give a disclaimer: TREAT AS CORROSIVE UNTIL CONFIRMED.
Barnaul is the best of the main current 3, the others being Norinco and Canada Ammo non corrosive (remanufactured)
I would rank Barnaul as the best then Norinco…. I am still working through my Can Am plinking rounds. The reloaded rounds have issues where 1 in 20-30rds will not chamber in bolt actions and I have found 2 that will not chamber in a SKS (really). Accuracy of it is oh hum.... I will not buy any more of that stuff as its just not good quality. Norinco works great but shoots not as well as barnaul for accuracy.
Shop around you will find what your looking for. Remember the $20-40 you may save buying 1000 rounds isn't always a great deal unless 1- you fire a lot of rounds or 2- just want a big stockpile. If you really only shoot 40-100rds per outing consider the cost of interest on your credit card vs buying a few hundred rounds as you need them. I stocked deep on x39 but I am trying this strategy on other calibres like 30/30, 223, 308 and 303 only buying really so many rounds as I actually need in the near future or next year. If I see a smoking deal I will still jump on it but loading up on high volumnes to save $20 really isn't a huge savings.

They don't have "free shipping" above certain total amount, do they? Like for instance Tenda has.

Canada anmo ..... bought 1000 of them and tested for corrosive. Came up HIV Negative
Barrel heats up fast but did seem accurate at indoor 25 yard range. Was gonna put it on paper at 50 with more solid rest for an accuracy report on the new 305a / bulk anmo , but ya. Seems wicked so far
Ya that was the stuff someone linked ..... looks sold out. Glad I got her when I did. Now just waiting ��for the red dot to compliment the rig

Just purchased a second batch of 500 Barnaul 7.62×39 Lead Core, Non-Corrosive, 123GR FMJ from Tenda for $189.99. Cheap like dirt. To get to $300 for "free shipping" I added 3 boxes of Federal Value Pack .22LR 525 each for a measly $33.99 (6.5 cents per round!). Tenda gives the best deals for ammo this days. Shipping took only two days. Go Tenda!
I have noticed they have sales very often at about 8-18% off. They had one Easter weekend for 12% and a few weeks before that for 18%. They do not allow combining that with free shipping though, but if you are passing through or buying a lot of stuff it should sweeten the purchase.
