who has the cheapest 1911 magazines?

In my experience cheap 1911 mags have been a poor choice and ended up costing me more money than simply going for a quality mag such as Tripp Cobras, Wilson etc. The extra few bucks per mag will pay off with a better performing/more reliable 1911. Tripp's are my choice and have been nothing but 100% reliable.

Thanks,
Cal.

thing is. i used to have like 6 magazines i got used for about $10 each and they were all broke in and all functioned better then new mags i bought at the time. i am always weary about paying to much for a new magazine. i dont mind getting a mag for like $20 and doing work on it and braking it in . i just dont want to pay like $40 and still have to do the same thing.

I bought a 3 pack of Chip McCormick 8 round mags from Brownells for 75. They've worked perfectly from the start.

This is my recommendation for the best value. The Power Mags are comparable in quality to the Wilson or Tripp magazines, but the price is a bit lower.

In general, if you want 8-round magazines, avoid the ones with the same tube length as 7-round GI magazines. 8 rounds require a slightly longer magazine for best results.

The Wilson Combat Service Plus magazines would be my recommendation if all you want are 7-rounders.

Are the Dlask mags just rebranded ACT mags? I have a couple of ACT mags to go with my assortment of Wilson, Chips and factory mags. The ACT's seem to work very well. I would buy more.

I've got a few Dlask and ACT 8 round mags. I'm pretty sure they're the same thing. They work pretty good for me. I don't remember where, but I bought a bunch from a site sponsor for $20 or $21 each. I've got one each of the more expensive ones that Brownells sells, and they don't work any better for me than the cheapies. Mind you I've also had good luck with the factory Norc mags too.
