Who has the nicest hunting rifles

Given your price range, consider A-Bolt Medallion or better still Weatherby Vanguard Deluxe for eye appeal. Having said that, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so you really have to be the one who chooses but stay away from synthetic cos they be ugly by any standard LOL !

Buy this Sako AV .338WM before I do.:runaway:

I was thinking about checking that gun out blargon. Real nice gun for the price, not sure how it would bark and bite though. Just wish it was in 300 H&H instead.

Having owned or at least own some of the ones discussed, my choice is for the Steyr, but then I have a penchant for the full stocks. Heym is nice, but so is the price. Sako makes a good quality rifle, no second thoughts there. Ruger is probably the cheapest of the lot, but a good rifle for the price.

well. if you want pretty, and you want power, then you want to get one of the number 1S in 9.3x74 R. verry pretty and a shooter. 286 grain at 2400 at less than an inch. easy recoil , just a verry pretty rifle, that will take any animal on earth. at less than 9 pounds. number 1s are fantistic.one shot, one kill, it's a mind thing. you will love it !

...I should post a pic of my Ruger International .308 full-stock. A beauty.

On the subject of nice hunting rifles, how about a No.1?

the Rugers, especially the #1s look nice.
the problem is, if you just order something online its always a crapshoot.
if you can, go to a larger gunstore and actually take a look at their new & used guns so you can handpick the wood.
