Who has the worst customer service?

Next time that happens, walk behind the counter and try and open the cabinet. If they're not going to help you, I say help yourself. What a sham, that's some pretty bad service, it's obvious the managers don't give a s**t about anything, let alone the staff.

If I were you I would have walked behind the counter, and tried to force open the cabinet without breaking it. If you push down on the piece of sliding glass that the bolt is not on, sometimes you can unhinge it from the lock and slide it over anyways without a key.
Works at my store.

I guarentee you that if loss prevention is there watching the cameras and see's that, they'll come over there and check out what your doing. You'll get service then.
Best part is, you can't get in trouble. The only way you can get in trouble is if you're going to steal something, meaning you put it in your arms and walk out of the store front doors with it.
If you happened to accidentily break the glass, or they came running anyways, you can just say
"well no one was here to help me, I was here for 30 minutes and I need these products, I just decided to grab them myself". And there's nothing that they can do about it.

If the service sucks and you know your rights :D then you can at least give them a hard time and get what you want anyways.

Haha, I was tempted to try something like that, but I was sure I'd get in sh*t for it some way or another. They sometimes had some pretty good deals on ammo in there, and getting banned from the place wouldn't sit well with me :D.

I did walk around behind the counter though, noting the security camera that was immediately above me, hoping that it would put some fire under someone's ass, but it didn't help. I started moving the pile of product that was in front of the ammo display :)rolleyes:) so I could see what else was there, and putzed around back there for a while, but nada.

One old lady even came around the corner, I made eye contact with her, as she did with me, and I even had a hopeful look of imminent service upon my face, but just like the 14 year olds at Canadian Tire whom the elder generation loves to criticize for their laziness, she quickly scurried away down an aisle, never to be seen again.

Where in your posts does it say you're of them you dismissed it.

And the last part of my post was not meant for you in particular, it was for all the people that feel the need to ##### on CGN about how the were served by firearm dealers, as if it might help them get better service. I'll say it again, the problem has to be dealt with at the management level.

And by the way, you spell like a 13 year old. At least try to use the shift key and type complete words. It would help you come off a bit better.

sorry, didn't mean to offend by using a little computer shorthand...lol, imho managers should know that their staff is a direct reflection on their business and perhaps be aware of how they conduct themselves... no need to be all pissy.

HOME DEPOT!!!

Three "self serve" lanes (with clerks standing there to make their BS system work)
One frigging full service checkout for a store that has 2-300 customers wandering about trying to pick up over priced crap that they won't actually need.

And zinc washers for 27 cents a piece???

Cheaper to drill a hole in a friggin quarter than buy there.:bangHead:

MilArm in Edmonton is horrible. If your a real sicko and like being talked down to, make sure you ask for Gord.....he will make you want to slit your wrists, just to end the suffering.

I think Gord was born an #######. Years ago I used to frequent Milarm, and he was a prick then too. Never went back.

Every LeBarons I have ever been to!!!!! The thing that sucks is I have to swallow my pride and go there once and a while because they are usually the last ones to run out of primers/ammo.

The gun room at the Le Baron on Woodbine in Markham. Just horrible customer service.

Now, the wierd thing is, the staff in the fishing, camping, clothing departments in the same store could not be more helpful.

And the ladies at the cash are very nice when ringing up your purchases or getting ammo for you.

Plus that 10% discount for Club Le Baron members is kind of hard to pass up!:D

Is this the bald guy who talks like everyone in the store needs to hear him? If so, he is a ####, and has turned me off that store for the forseeable future.

Aside from inventory issues, the only beef I've got with WSS is all the knuckleheads in there trying out guns when they haven't got the foggiest idea what they want. "Yeah, can you show me what ya got in 300 MAGNUMS?". That dude is going to yak for 30 minutes and probably not even buy anything. So long as you do your research beforehand, WSS is the cheapest place to go. P&D has better inventory, less non-firearms related crap, and generally more informed clientelle (which leads to short wait times). Milarm is for masochists and/or mall ninjas only.

Thanks Randy.

Went over to Princess Auto and bought the same pressure washer for fifty bucks less plus actually talked with sales people on the floor and at the till.

Actually left feeling good about my purchase.

From now on it's Princes Auto and Rona.

FHD!

There is a rumour that WSS might hire someone to crush the #### out of wannabe timewasting little cockcuckers that hang about and waste real time.

We're talking salary and commission this week.

Hmmm.... actually a straight commission (without the back-up of a salary) is the best way for a store to weed out their bad sales people.

Customers can pick the sales person they wish to deal with, only.

As of the prick sales people, they won't last long on the job, because they're making no sales and no money.

WSS owners and managment wont need to do a thing. Just sit back and let their paying customers reward guys who offer good service, and weed out the pricks.

Excellent idea! WSS Calgary needs to put this forth ASAP:) WSS owners...are you reading this?? Get on the ball, and get your store back as having a good rep.
