Who has tried a 9mm in a 40/357 SIG P229?

I have a P229 in 40 S&W, can't get it in 9mm anymore (in Canada). The barsto barrel in 9mm for a 40/357 slide looks to be the only option (and no I don't want a P226 the P229 fits my hand better - not sure why?). I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has tried the barsto 9mm in a 40/357 frame. Not to concerned if the 9mm barrel has to be extended to be legal. Can't find reference to it on US forums either? Anyway anyone try this or have reference to someone in a US site who has? Do tell.

Lots of people on the Sig forum have the barsto barrels and everyone seems happy with them.

Have u looked at EFK Firedragon for a barrel? I know they make em for all models of SIGs and also have P229's with the extra 1/2in making it 4.4" for an addtnl $15 I believe..I was pricing one out with the 4.4" and I think it was $165US.. Just passing it along..
