Who has tried Norinco 5.56 x 45 55gr Yellow box

I've had no problems with it in my CQA carbine or in my Rem 700 SPS. I'm reloading it now with good results. Out of the million of rounds successfully fired the odds of getting a "bad batch" are extremely low. I think you need to take a look at your mags or the rifle itself.

I have 3 crates and it all good. I use it in my 20"HBar and my 11.5" HBar and there has been no issues and it is accurate for my purposes, great practice ammo.

I have often considered reloading but Im fairly new to shooting and would be scared to make a mistake. Is reloading an easy thing to get the hang of or is it an art form if you will?

Interesting that you're new to shooting but know enough to call this ammo junk when thousands of other far more experienced shooters have had no issue with it. How about you follow the advice of many people who have been shooting far longer than you and have the gun and mags checked out.

I said farily new to shooting which means I only have two years under my belt. I call the ammo "junk" because in that two years I have shot about 10000 rounds of .223 and 5.56 in my rifle. When my rifle will shoot Federal 5.56 x 45 XM855 {i got 1000 rounds of it), Winchester .223 in a 62gr and the American Eagle .223 black box with ZERO issues how can it be the gun or mags????

Maybe ur gun just don't like it that's it. Blast thru it all and reload it and make some more
accurate rounds, or sell it

Im now looking into some PMC. I like that ammo, gonna keep the brass to reload and made my first step towards reloading by purchasing the Lyman Reloading book. Thank you to all of you for the feedback.

Wow all gone!! Does anyone else have a deal like this with free shipping?
$400 was what I was looking for!!!
I heard a guy say he picked up a case for $375ish but forget what store it was.
Thanks CANAMMO!!! Keep the Norinco rolling!!!!!!!!!!

Shot a case through a 7.5", 14.5 and a Tavor no issues with any of it in any gun. I was a a course and one guy did have a bullet get pushed into the case that said another guys shoot AE black box had two get pushed into the case. I have heard some people talk about primers falling out when it gets hot, I haven't seen it yet. What AR are you using and what mags?

The cases of 1600 are sold out BUT the cases of 1120 for $279 are in stock and the price per round works out to the same as the 1600 round cases.

I have been curious about the primers falling out as I've never experienced that with this ammo in the past. I was shooting Norinco 223 in today's heat and never had any primers come loose. 2 other guys were shooting their Norinco 223 as well and none of them had issues either. Mine was 95 vintage and one of my buddies was 93. All of us were shooting it out of ARs and it was close to 30 deg C at the range.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
