Who has tried the new Gevarm magazines?

Yes, and if you do manage to get it working...please post pics!

If one were to use a rubber mallet on one...what aspect exactly would one hit? I'd be afraid of permanently deforming the body.

I bought 2 of the 8 rounders from the manufacturer. Out of the box , one fit into the magazine slot , and the other was too fat.
A couple light whacks with the mallet and both slid in with about the same feel, but neither would quite click into place and seat.
They both were catching on the bolt and would not let the action close.
They both needed some material removed, (filed) from the back of the mag , as well as the front to seat properly, use a round file.
Also used a flat file to take a bit off the top of the lips. Go easy with the file. A few strokes at a time + keep testing for fit.
They fit great now. Dont bind . Aren't hard to pull out. Both click into place properly and engage the holding notch on the front of the mags. Oh yeah , as far as function go. I put 200 rounds of mini mags through them, and 100 standard velocity CCI . Out of the 300 total rounds tested I had 0 failures to feed , 0 failures to eject, no bumps or hickups at all. Perfect functioning magazines.
They just have to fitted to your gun, as the manufacturer warns. Just for reference, my gun is an A3 model . I'm very happy with my two new spare magazines. It only took me about a half hour to fit them to my gun. I tryed to order from WGP , but after waiting a year I ordered directly from Triple- K. They put my name on the waiting list , and I had them 2 months later. Hope this helps others.
