who here shoots the BSA Martini actions?

I was reading a page on the BSA Martini actions and I see there are Mark II Mark IV and such models, but throughout the article they only talked about the 12/15.

is the 12/15 the same as these Mark models and of them, which is the better and what markings on on the rifles to dictate which Mark revision it is?

thanks! :)

No. The mark series are the martini internationals. They are much bigger, heavier, and more expensive guns than the earlier 12/15, 12 etc. But they are also slightly more accurate, but not by much. I've owned both and personally prefer the 12/15 because it's so much lighter weight and shoots nearly as good.

I have a left-hand action MkII wearing a x18 Unertl 2" target scope, and a right-hand action MkII in a one-off laminated stock. That one has a Tasco T70 in x20. Both shoot like crazy.
