I have 5 of them. 222, 284 win, and 3 x 308 (one of which is in the process of being rebarreled to 7mm-08 AI, the other two are set up as scout rifles). Very good hunting guns, easy to tote, nice to shoot. - dan
I have one in 308 made in 1973.its an awsum bush gun and shoots sub 1" with 150gr bullets.it does have a bit of muzzle blast but its still a fun rifle to shoot.
I've hunted with mine, in .308, for twenty years. Taken more big game with it than with all my other centerfires combined, including some big moose. And yes, hansol is right, the very first time I saw a P14, I knew where Remmy stole the design for that dogleg bolt handle.
Great little rifles, I'd own more if they were more common and a bit less expensive!
great guns used them for years here's one of my favorites it's had a little stock work done and the bolt handle changed and as you can see it works well
