Who Imports/Sells/Deals Savage actions?

According to Savage's new website they are selling all their actions now, not just the target action.

I'm wondering if anyone knows anyone that imports the Target action because they could probably bring in a standard actions as well.

non-target Savage actions have been widely available in Canada for many years now. they even come with a free barrel you can sell on the EE for $125, bringing your net cost down to about $225.

Ellwood epps, has target and standard actions listed as in stock. Look under savage in their firearms list.

That's because the stock has no real value.

I have done it on the stevens, that would definetly be the way to go for a budget custom.

I would buy the stevens for $360 and a Timney for $140 off Jerry Theo.


I might even try an SSS trigger for 98 US if there was a gunnut out there that could give me an oppinion on one.

I'm a lefty, never did mention that in this post though. I find it funny though and other lefties must also experience this... you make a post about a left hand specific rifle or other gadget in x cartridge or wanting x feature and then someone always seems to recommend a rifle or gadget but fails to realize they don't come in left hand

That's the whole reason we ask where each other have found items!

for anyone who has used the target action, did you notice much improvement over the standard action? Been thinking of going this route myself and am curious if its worth the extra $$$
