Who in Canada can build a custom LR 7 mm precision rifle...

Any cartridge that is accurate at 300 will be accurate at 800, it is just a matter of reading the wind. Your "experts" will likely tell you to go ahead and build the 7rm because that'll guarantee them some work in the near future. Sure it can be an accurate cartridge but so can alot of other cartridges. I'd say just go and shoot your take down rifle against other 308s. If it is nearly as good as you say it is and you're as good as you claim to be then you'll definately be coming home with some trophies. If you have your heart set on building a gun, go with one of the many board sponsors that. Theyre here for a reason, they love shooting as much as we all do and any work we can give them will give them a reason to stick around.

If you have your heart set on the "purple haze" gun, you can do it with all Canadian components. PGW single shot action, gaillard 7mm barrel. Find a Canadian stock builder that'll build you want you want (a Robertson composites GBF un-inletted would be perfect) and you're golden. Last I checked the action was in the neighborhood of $1000.00 without a trigger, the barrel should be about $400 and I couldn't tell you what your smith would charge to chamber/fit your barrel and fit your stock to the action but all in it will be cheaper then the nemesis. It'd be cooler too and shooting matrix bullets... All canadian precision.

I am in touch with a couples of guys who all ready help a lot... Thank you all for the infos... JP.

Casey at Tac-Ord, Keith Cunningham at Milcun. I don't understand though, that rifle you have shown pics of seems to shoot fine based on your range reports. If you need to toss money away, I will be happy to give you my bank account #. :D

I realized lately that i would be hard pressed to get in touch with a mile shoot with my Nem, i need a caliber that will fly pefect in the wind and bring me accurately to one mile and extremely accurately to one Km but everything at 800 metres or less, the Nem will shine... JP.

Shooting at a mile is a whole different ball game, changing barrels will be required often with the type of calibers that you require to shoot at a mile, with consitency. The biggest heaviest, highest coeficient bullets at the highest velocities is what you need for a mile, I would say the larger 7mm's, 30's,338's and 50 cal would be where you are heading.

What canadian manufacturer makes a match trigger. It might be close but not completely canadian built.

Ask Casey at Tacord. He ordered a stainless Krieger barrel in 7mm for me which I no longer need. It should have arrived by now.
