and where to find a straight bolt handle? on 700 action.

thanks

I would think any gunsmith with a drill and a tap and some Torx screws could do that... somewhat false security though.

If you really think you have a problem it should be welded on...

I saw one done like this which broke at the screw location. I used to use a screw as a locator more than anything else when I was changing or re-attaching handles. The broken one I saw used a too large screw in a poor location.
I think the option which is best by far is to tig weld the handle to the bolt body. Second best is simply a good silver solder (silver brazed) joint. Those Remington handles which come adrift are those where the joint was improperly soldered from the factory. Regards, Bill

thanks guntech, can you make the 700 bolt handle straight? and install a KMW bolt knob?

I have no bolt knobs... but I can install it if you supply it... and I don't quite know what you mean about making the bolt handle straight...??? unless you mean to profile the existing knob to match the straight portion it is on the end of...??? I also am not taking any work in until January. PM or email me.

by making it straight I meant the bolt hand is straight like surgeon bolt handle.

That would require removing the old handle, obtaining a new straight handle and welding it in place. If you supply the handle it would cost about $125 plus return shipping. I would need the barrelled action.
