I've done 2 of them since Dec and both were between 6 and 8 weeks. Not what you wanted to hear.......wTc
Is there anywhere we can put in a complaint to? The CFO himself? Auditor General? Anyone?
Also, I'm not very familiar with access to information requests, but is it possible to ask them for the number of restricted vs non-restricted transfers per day? Maybe if we have some solid numbers there would be more punch to the complaint.
Ontario has almost twice the population numbers that Quebec does, and about 3-4 times the numbers BC does... so while that may not necessarily excuse their poor transfer speeds, it does give them a reason to be slower.
They should hire more people (contractors, if they just want to clear the backlog) to deal with these transfers though...
