Who in ON is wating for a transfer? how long?

I called three times and finally on the third time she said she would pull my fill and do it that day. Then she even called me about 2 hours later to let me know she had done it. All in all just under 5 weeks:bangHead:

Just bought my first restricted this month (in BC). I was planning on picking up my new pistol sometime in May...maybe even June. Was not expecting the fast turn around.

-Put down money/deposit on April 16.
-Faxed LTATT app the same day (didnt have one)
-2 days later, receive letter saying LTATT missing documentation.
-3 days after that, resend LTATT app (fax)
-2 day later, receive LTATT
-Saturday April 26, transfer approved (might have been Friday...didn't check date on voice mail)
-Monday April 28, pick up pistol.
-Tuesday April 29, receive another LTATT copy....not sure why...just opened the letter now.

why does it take so long again? I'm lost.
Backlog? of what? isn't it on computer?
Punching the keyboard takes how long??

Has anyone asked what they actually do?

Why would it take longer than 2 minutes to transfer it?

Alright, so, here's what I'll say.

CALL THE CFO.

I called the CFC and asked about my transfers, still the same "They're with the province", so I called the CFO, was transferred twice, then he completed both of my transfers while I waited. A 199###X and a 206###X. One of the guns is already on the way to me now. :)

#### you, Ontario, for making me wait this long, but thank you to the few individuals who are actually doing their jobs.

Brad

A couple of transfers of mine just got approved, without any pushing on my part. The first one, initiated mid-March, took five weeks, and the second, initiated end of March, took four. Seems the backlog is clearing up.

I called today, a week after initiating my transfer. I have a match coming up over two weekends in May and had hoped to have my new gun available, which I explained to them. No luck. They said it would probably take a month total.
