Elwood Epps usually has a few in stock but they are old ones and I think that they have access to the new ones

Ithaca shotguns were not in production for awhile. SKB was making their guns for awhile. Then employees from the original Ithaca co. started the company again, then closed again.

The company is up an running once more. Hopefully they'll get some more business and keep the doors open for awhile. They make a nice shotgun, but the models are limited at this time. Check them out at www.ithacagunsusa.com for info on Canadian Distributors.

TRANSITION

Ithaca Gun moved to King Ferry under new ownership in the 1980s, after encountering fiscal trouble and an expensive environmental cleanup in Ithaca. The company went bankrupt in 1995, and was bought by a group of investors that continued to build the classic Ithaca firearms at the King Ferry facility. In April, 2005 the company was moved to Auburn, NY in anticipation of a sale to a new investor. When that sale fell through around Memorial Day, Ithaca Gun closed its doors.

REVITALIZATION

When they heard about the closing of the historic firearm manufacturer, Floyd and Craig Marshall contacted the investors with the intent of revitalizing the company. Four months later, on December 9th, the sale was completed and several tractor-trailers full of files, drawings, fixtures, & parts were on the way to MoldCraft, the Marshalls' mold and tool manufacturing company in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Since that time, the Ithaca Guns USA team has been working tirelessly to organize the company into a modern, world-class firearms manufacturer. During the first weeks of 2006, the company has geared up for resuming production of the classic Ithaca designs. A new customer-focused Parts & Service Department is in place, staffed by industry-recognized hunting and sport shooting experts. And along with the classic Ithaca designs, the new company has a series of product innovations in the works. Ithaca Guns USA is proud to be a part of the long history of loyal Ithaca Gun enthusiasts. We are committed to providing our customers with an exceptional product, continued innovation, and outstanding customer service.

If you are looking for an Ithaca Expert and Parts or Guns for any old Ithaca you should contact Ron Sharp at Sharps Guns in Dunnville Ontario.
Ron has the most parts and Ithacas of anyone in this country, he originally bought everything they had when the old company went bankrupt back in the 70's.
Ron Sharp is a classy guy and loves his Ithacas, he will undoubtedly be one of the first to get any new manufacture Ithaca's in Canada.... If you are talking to him say hello from Red.

WOW, I really think those 2 Deerslayer's look great.

I see the current M37 Featherlight weighs in at 7.3 lbs. I have an older version that I'm not sure of it's year of manufacture. What would be the easiest and quickest way to find out how old it is so I can track down the specs of my gun when it was sold?
