Who is a Ten-X Ammo dealer here?

Which shops here deal in Ten-X ammo & are getting ready to put in an order? Looking to purchase some odd ball ammo but don't want to wait a year plus to see it. Drop me a p.m. if you don't want to post. Thanks -Dances

I thought the big problems for importing to Canada was on their side of the fence?

There's hoops to jump through on both sides.

State Dept. and Dept of Commerce to get it OUT of the US, NRC Explosives Branch, on this side to import it.

The import side requires that each load has to be tested for approval.
That's my understanding anyway.
I'm sure someone will say so if I'm wrong.

just exactly when did our import and Export laws change to the extent that these folks no longer wish to ship ammo here? FS

You could check with Ellwood Epps ,they where a importer and they might have what your looking for around still.

Ten-X no longer has an export permit in place to ship ammunition across the border. We have very limited quantities of a handful of obsolete cartridges, but no standard loadings are available any longer.

The issue lies in that the Canadian government requires several hundred dollars for testing each calibre of ammunition to be imported. Ten-X has refused to pay these fees for the limited quantities they export -- and rightfully so -- therefore they are no longer shipping to Canada.
