Who is buying a Type81?

Why would they be fake? The gun is outdated and they probably have tons of spare cleaning kits and bayonets to dump into surplus anyways.
BTW the samples they had come in had the bayonet lug. Not that it will matter since the barrel is so long it will pass beyond the tip of the bayonet anyways.

Interesting, those ones look to be blued instead of chromed. Metal looks a little rougher too. They weren't on eBay a couple weeks ago.

Oh well, still cool and I have a rule that I have to have a bayonet for every guy that could have one, even my Webley revolver.

Hoping for an update July 1st. So many different rifles coming out recently which will cause more people to jump ship.
I'm in this till the end and hoping for my fixed stock type 81..But this wait is getting mildly annoying when it's been nonres for well over a year.. other rifles are deemed nonres and available within a couple weeks.

Oh well no point being a broken record; here's to July production

Stat holiday. But you want an update July 1st when production might start sometime in July. Allegedly.

Don't hold your breath...

Good God, don't go searching for that thread unless you have 3 hours and a stiff drink. I made the mistake of looking for it last night before going to bed. Ended up going to bed at 3:45am for a 7am wake up. It's like a really good novel. Just can't put it down!!

I can't believe that I missed that during the goings on and the balls of Marstar.

Good read.
