Well I'm surprised this thread wasn't deleted to cover this mess up as well. I still think it will be.
I think GT should post in general firearms chat as well as the off topic on this matter. There are a lot of people who want to know what happened and do not go to the off topic section.

A very wise decision. You can't suppress this, censorship just enrages people. People need to be heard. Free, open, respectful discussion is the only way we are ever going to resolve this with honest input from all the main players.
I don't think very many people want to see CGN destroyed. I enjoy visiting other sites but this is where I like to be. I like the EE, the various forums, the interesting, innovative people found here. Gunnutz are, as a rule, clever, witty, ingenious, opinionated people. We don't always agree with each other- that's the price you pay when you hang out with people who think outside the box. I'm ok with that. However I think we all want to be on the same page when it comes to certain things like integrity and credibility. It's hard to be here and carry on like everything's normal when there is this uneasy feeling. Things aren't right here. Can we please get the people who are in a position to fix this to speak up and let us know what you are doing to make things right again.
Allowing people to vent is a good first step.
If you are directing this out generally, then good, I agree. I certainly don't need a personal lecture about it, though.
