Looks like my season might be over except for the wife's days off.
I got 2 rottweillers pushing 9 years old and while the male acts like he's getting younger.... the old girl, all 76 kilos of her, was in rough shape when i got back from hunting. Took her to the vet and we discovered she is a full on diabetic. So someone's gotta be around for her 2 insulin shots a day and to keep an eye on her blood sugars. Crazy how fast she bounced back though and happy she's still around. Hunting can wait for now. might get out for some local deer but we'll see.
