I am going to load some up. With unique and Aim 230 grain. Is anyone using these? If so how do you like them? If not what is you recipe? Thanks to all.

Using 4.9 of Win 231, 200gr swc. I found the gun had to be resighted with the small pistol primers rounds, when I switched from LP primers with the same load!

just use winchester nt or one of the small primer rounds- i've done that and use EXACTLY the same recipe for either- 6 grains of 231, 200 grain swc- out of the government model 4/series 70, about 9oo fps- give or take a few-you may have to REMOVE THE CRIMP on federal and some of the others, but once that's done, way you go

Use small primers all the time in .45GAP, saves me from switching primers from 9mm and .40S&W when reloading. But then I had to go and buy a .45ACP and now and now I need the large primers.

I'm the same, too lazy to change my primer set up. 4.7gn titegroup behind Aim 230 gn. gives me about 168pf. If your using Aim and shooting competition make sure you weigh and average your bullets. I've seen 230gn bullets at 223.5gn.
