For a long time I've have been interested in large bore airguns. I have a number of .177 and .22 airguns, springers, C02 and pneumatics, but always wanted to go a bit bigger.
In late 2009 I placed an order for what I considered at the time was a large bore airgun, a Jack Haley .457 cal PCP rifle.
After waiting for approximately six months for it to be built by Jack, it arrived.
This gun puts a big ole' smile on my face every time I shoot it.
I've shot 315 - 515 grain "Pellets" out of it, it seems to perform well when shooting 360 grain hollow points.
It shoots the 360's at around 400 fpe when filled at 3600 psi.
Beautiful gun to look at and to shoot as well.
The reason I said I thought it was large bore when I ordered it, Jack introduced a .58 cal shortly after I received my .457.
The .58 shoots at 750 fpe!!
