Hey everybody,
Someone on here was selling Mega Arms lowers at one point. I'm looking into an Ambi lower for my next build and it looks like it would fit the bill. If anyone has any info, it would be appreciated.

Take a serious look at ATRS Gen-4, VERY very nice lowers and Canadian made ;)

x2 Support a Canadian company that makes a top quality upper/lower, I just pulled the trigger (pun intended) on a matched upper/lower and should be in my hands next week, needless to say I can't wait.

How do you like your Diamondhead rail? What length rail/barrel are you running?

I was just looking at these today.

Sorry to the OP for the derail.

I made a thread in ATRS industry forum. A 10.25" handguard with 16" barrel. Really nice handguard, great shape and setup, and Magpul MOE rail sections work pretty well on it!

That's cool. If you guys that have pics of rifles made up with Mega stuff, please share some pics. This can be a bragging post too. Lol!

As far as the ATRS rail goes, got that already. I've built many AR's but never with a Mega lower. I have a few lowers in mind for later projects. It sucks that Mega is removing their monolithic rail from their stock. That was an amazing upper. They claim to be making a different improved version that doesn't fall on a patent created by another company. Legal stuff sucks.

How is the fit with the Vltor Upper??

It's a very nice fit although I had to adjust the tension screw on the bottom a bit (some movement) but after tightening up the tension screw (under the takedown lug) it's nice and solid. The curve shape is pretty much perfect but contouring isn't absolutely perfect (you can see it's not a perfect match, but such is life when you get more oddball parts ;) ).

Overall i'd say it's a great fit, but I would be just as happy with the ATRS upper. ATRS custom matches their uppers and lowers together to something like 1/10,000th of an inch (or something equally absurdly precise) so there's no movement at all, just perfect fit.

That's nice. I know its not about ATRS, but if you have more pics, post em up. I like the wood grip.

Thanks, it's been worth the hassles and waiting for components! :p

I had a couple pics posted in my ATRS thread but I'll copy em here:
