Who likes the H&R handy rifle?

I was wondering if anybody knows where to pick up a surviver stock for one as my 22hornet is need of stock replacement Neph out grew this stock and it is a tad short now.
As for the rifle itself it is a decent gun for price/quality

No Rugers here at this time. You might be referring to my TOTALLY AWESOME (& COOL) Remington 375Chatfudd-Taylor that has now been coated black.

Behold ....... The most famous rifle on CGN!

Ahhh yes... that is the one, I remembered it being a cool Ruger... the Rem thing just adds to it's "pre-ickiness"... and post "slightly less ickiness..."

However, I note that the rifle is not actually in the picture with the caribou and your great-grandson... smart young man, why detract from an otherwise fine animal...

That's a very astute observation that I will put to rest.

As shown with a rather handsome gent.

Much better the second photo. I can't stand barreled actions not matching unless the action is case colored

.243, .308, .45-70, 12 ga slug (2), BP Huntsman...

View attachment 17417

...i bought 2 complete sets of action replacement parts from brownells years ago just in case

...have done trigger jobs on them all

....308 shoots 1" at 100, got rid of the 243, 45-70 is for 405 grain hunting loads using unique powder...3" with iron sights (and 2 cents per shot)

...for what it is, it sure is handi...

Now that is a nice looking rifle. I'd love one if they made if it 35 Whelen or 9.3x74r

Did you try Paul to copy an alaskan black ruger with laminate stock?????

i like more the lastest version.

you changed the scope too ...

Had 2 nef handi rifles (45-70, 308 Win) that I sold this spring.
Needed to downsize or get another safe and the beams holding up the floor in the gun room have a good bow in them now.
Didn't want the whole shebang to wind up in the basement on top of the furnace.
The handi rifles were decent guns but favorite levers and bolt actions won out.
The buyers got 2 good guns.

Nope, I was first and they copied me.

Still have the 2.5x8 but use it on another rifle. The 1.5x5 works well enough.

I'm looking for two of these stocks for a couple of my Handi rifles as well.
