Just picked up this 20 gauge as a project. Cannot make out the name on the receiver. Looks like N (then a space) (partial letters) could be a C then U, then 'mann' then space followed by Bros. The other side of receiver says Machine Made. Between barrels it states Warranted Government Test. She is lose on the face and the hammers would not stay cocked. I dripped some lube into the screw holes and she cocks fine now. Not crisp mind you. I have researched changing hinge pins and that will be my first move. The bores are good and the barrels could use rebluing. The stock was fairly ugly when she was new by the look of things so we will see how that works out after the wood is stripped. Now if I can get these photos up, today will be off to good start. Still working on attaching photos. Wish me luck. She is a hammer shotgun by the way.
