I wouldn’t mind buying a 9mm but as a left hand shooter I hate being hit in the face with burning powder or brass. Just wondering who makes a 9mm that is user friendly for us lefties.

Just picked up a just right carbine in the last month. It’s been great and it takes Glock mags and you can switch which way it ejects. Just got to switch the extractor from right to left which takes no time at all.

I have shot JRC, Ruger PCC, Chiappa M1-9, and a host of others. While they all leave something to be desired with respect to Lefty ergonomics for fire controls, I've never been bothered by the ejection of spent casings to the right.

I've shot an awful lot of PCCs left handed and have never once been hit in the face with either burning powder or brass. Just use a normal one and don't worry about it.

Left handed firearms can be difficult find and near impossible to sell.

As lefties in a right handed world, life is easier if we learn to adapt and overcome.

Nope, the FX9 isn't super lefty friendly.
Dad never had issues with being hit by hot brass out of my FX9, but after 3 mags he was gassed out.
We also had my JRC with us, and it took about 2 minutes to convert it to left eject for him. He definitely enjoyed shooting that alot more.

Depends on the ammunition whether it's an issue or not - With straight blowback firearms (like most semiauto PCCs), different chamber pressure curves mean different opening/extraction times. Sometimes that can mean getting pepper in the face.

As far as I know, left hand ejection is available in the TNW ASR and Just Right Carbine.

Bumpkin an older thread. My sub2000 peppers you with unburnt powder, the Ruger PCC on the other hand is glorious for lefties. Shot it all day without anything blowing back in my face.

Yep, sold a sub2000 after one trip to the range because of this issue. Bought a Beretta CX4 and switched it to left side eject. That worked great until..........:(

I use my FX-9 regularly as a PCC in competition, and as a lefty, I actually don't find it to be too bad. Especially if the firearm or ammo is not particularly dirty.
