Who makes DBMs for Savage 223?

True,Sir. Guess I was kinda vague d'oh. What I meant to say is a DBM conversion for the blind mag guns.

If you have the new gen SA with fixed mag IN the stock, you just need to get a det center feed mag stock, bottom metal and mag.

Drop your action in and have at it. It's plug and play...

Naw, I'm not that lucky. Mine's one of the older narrow spacing 10fp in the Choate stock.

I'm pretty sure only the newer centerfeed's are able to be converted Sharp Shooter Supply makes mag kits they would know for sure.

I just talked to Jeff at CDI. He has a setup,but is waiting on the AI 223 mags to be released.

Before jumping, see how long a cartridge the AI mag will allow. If set like the AR's, it will be very short and not much use if you plan on doing any LR shooting with heavies.

The huge advantage with the Savage mags is the much longer OAL as it comes from the factory - approx 2.5" and the ability to lengthen to almost 3".
