I am not sure if there is much accuracy differance between the two. But the explanation that sold me on the fully rifled barrel by a gunsmith was the fact that the slug has all that time in the rifled barrel to make a nice smooth spin before it reaches the air, vs. being forced to spin in a matter of about an inch and a half or two inches or so. Im sure however that people have tried both and have differant opinions!SuperCub said:I'm looking to get a cantilever bbl for my 870/SP.
I notice that there are both fully rifled and Rem-choke bbls available. Is there any difference in accuracy between the two?
