who rebarrels in Canada

Hi. Where you are in Southern Ontario matters.
Epp's smithy wants $150 plus the cost of the barrel that's ready to install. As in threaded, contoured and short chambered. $225 plus the cost of the barrel for a blank.
They're not the only smithy around, but they are they only one that publishes prices. Goble's, in London, has a smithy. As does Shooter's Choice, in Waterloo. At least, they did.
You'd have to decide what you want it chambered in as well. Think in terms of roughly the same length cartridge, case head diameter and the belt.

Spelling and grammer count and so does correct terminology. It is gunsmith man, gunsmith.

Grammer? Maybe you mean "grammar".
There should be a comma after the first "gunsmith" unless you mean him to call the person a "gunsmith man".
Sunray, he has you on terminology. A smithy is where a smith works.

soem good names hear , but i would not take your gun to epps if you looking or a target grade gun.
I have no real issue with epps just what i would call production line gunsmithing.

I dont' know who the gunsmith there now but when I called 3 years ago the fellow went at great lenghts to explain me that my No.4 mk1 Action was not long enough to take the 45-70 cartridge .....sad when you think what these guys could do with enfield rifles and all the 303 wildcats they developed back in the day. Bunch of them listed in one of PO Ackley manuals.

I can respect it when a gunsmith tells me he wont' take on a project.....I just dont' want to be fed any bs on why it cant be done.

Especiallyb when you see N4 actions in 45/70 quite often.
I have had my own VERY BAD experience with them, but will not air on open forum, I do not think it is appropriate.'If anyone wants details they can PM me.
For accuracy smiths in Ontario, Keith Cunningham's crew at Milcun is a top notch shop.
