Who reloads at the range?

I have considered building a system I could take to the country range here to do test loads, I think it would be good as it would give the barrel time to cool, and me something to do as it was cooling.. I have seen a few brands of portable presses in the catalogues, but only ever seen one that was used, how many of you take a press and a scale to the range?
 
I've done it.
I just used a Lee hand tool, and the dies, my RCBS hand primer, the scale, trickle charger etc.
It all just fit in a small box.
 
That would be me. When working up a load on a nice summer day, I take primed cases, scale, funnel, trickler, die set, powder, bullets, a loading block, and my Lee Hand Press.
I built a table that fits into my open (and emptied) glovebox and I can sit on the passenger's seat of my truck and load away with the sun beating in through the window.
However, there is a caution with this. I have fallen asleep doing this more than once. Not too bad when you are alone at the range, but scares the sh!t out of you when someone yells at you through the open side window. And it makes a damn mess in the truck!! LOL!!
 
My press and priming tool are bolted to an old half folded Workmate, which in turn is plopped onto a garden utility wagon and wheeled out right beside me. It's an immense help in developing loads when you can load up 5 rounds at a time then see what they'll do right away!

Done it several times. Good old Lee loader, small mallet, a caliper (if I want to vary seating depths), Lee hand primer (I've used the loader to prime a few times, but the hand primer is so much easier on the nerves! :D ) , RCBS scale, and a set of Lee powder scoops. Fits in a shoebox!
 
I think most ranges out here have rules prohibiting reloading activities on the premises. Which is too bad, because I'd like a space to bang my bullet-puller on the ground* without incurring the wrath of my wife or my pugs. And at one time I would have liked some space to use a lead melter without stinking up the back porch of the condo and drawing the attention of neighbours...

*-I have a dodgy batch of .38 Special. No more squibs for me.
 
I do it at Abby for my rifle. One of the benches on range 2 has been modified to accept the RCBS mounting plate. Works awesome to be setup with everything there, chrono, scale, puller, press and dies.
