Who s hunting with the classics this season

There are some real beauties there, this moose season I took my old LE303 out for the week. Never got to pull the trigger but it was a lot lighter to cary than my A bolt.

Used my custom Ruger single shot in 303 for the most part this season but also hunted with my 1903 Mannlicher Schoenauer in 6.5X54MS!:cool:
That gun is so light it just floats along with you.......

Took my 54cal cap and ball sheep hunting this year. 11days on horses with my brother
Had a custom saddle scabard made for it.
13 lbs packing up the mountain with my possibles bag was a grunt.
No legal rams this year. But seen over 100 rams
One cranker seen one range over. As we were planning how to get closer two guys crested the ridge behind the group of rams he was with and all hell broke loose
These two idiots started shooting at the rams on the run at over 500 yards.
We never seen that band of rams again.
But it will be something special to get a big horn with my old 54
