Who sells 10mm pistols in Canada?

Ruger is now making a 1911 in 10MM. I have no idea when it will arrive in Canada. A friend of mine has the Ruger 1911 in 45acp and I was impressed with the fit and finish. Gun was very tight. Worth a look if you can find one. Hunter Elliotjust did a review on the 10MM Ruger on the IDPA Canada website.

Wonder if Ruger sorted out the front site shearing off issue with their .45ACP 1911's?

Would be a huge issue in one in 10mm, I'd think!

The replacement one was dandy.

The 10mm SR is on my wish list, but for now I have an RIA that has demolished my poor opinion, derived from experience, of Filipino 1911's

Tanfoglio/EAA makes an awesome 10mm based on the CZ platform. They have a real cult following among the diehard 10mm crowd in the US because it is a very robust platform and easy to shoot well. I have a 6" version and it is a very accurate gun.

Yes old news. I had heard that as well so I looked into it in detail before buying. The problem was in an early run of one of the lower end models with the silver 'wonder' finish. EAA support in the US was bad so complaints were disproportionately loud. Most of the newer models (particularly the higher end limited, elite, hunter, pro, stock) have a reputation for being very strong and capable of handling a steady diet of full power loads.
