The only way to get a glock 19 from police ordnance as a civilian is to purchase a "demo" or used unit. I bought a demo and had a barrel shipped to them to convert it to restricted.

Jo Winkler is great to deal with. :)

How much money would you really save then i.e. Purchasing a new barrel, installation fee & not to mention it would on a ''Used'' G19.
I think you would be better off ordering direct from Questar in that case, but I'll check Jo to see what he could do..

Can they order the barrel, install it & have a final price?

When I bought mine questar wasn't an option. Mine was technically a demo, but there was no sign that it had ever been used. It came with trijicon night sights installed.

Questar is likely the best way to go these days. If I was to order from them I'd choose to get a kkm barrel rather than the federal brand as they are likely to be a little more accurate.

Update on Glock 19 deal:

To clarify, we don’t carry the GLOCK 19 in stock. With all the permit requirements these days it would take too long and be complicated to bring one in on special order. You would be looking at six months or more.

We have the GLOCK 26 available. But you would have to provide the barrel, for us to convert and have it re-classified as restricted. It is expensive, as you have to pay for the barrel in addition to the price of the gun, and barrel fitting and re-classification.
