Been looking for a Norinco M-93. Missed out on a couple on the EE because I hummed and hawed too long.

I recall Mar$tar used to sell them, and I think SFRC too, but I don't see any out there these days. Any other places to find one aside from the EE?

Just looking for a cheap plinker I can bubba into a poor man's target pistol.

No one. The are no longer made or imported. Best bet is the EE.

"bubba into a poor man's target pistol" Good luck with that idea:rolleyes:

I picked one up a couple years ago for 180 bucks and it shoots flawlessly. Great deal for a nice little 22.
Good luck on your hunt, keep watching the ee.

Yup. Have 3 of those things. I won't even attempt to take them apart. They are what they are.

3 eh?.... ;)

You say tomato.
I say tomahto.
You say 3.
I say one too many....

You don't need 3 of those silly Chinese paperweights, do you? I mean, think of all the fantastic things you could do with an extra $200! Why... You'd be a Hundredaire!! Imagine the possibilities!!

+1.
In the early 2016 Questar was selling the last remaining M93 Sportsman pistols for essentially peanuts. Just on a pure impulse I decided to buy one, rather reluctantly. It happens to be the best pistol deal of my life. My piece came with two mags and it's absolutely impeccable. Bluing is second to none. Probably, the best executed Norinco pistol! After all, it's nearly a full replica of the venerable Colt Woodsman, designed by nobody else but John Browning. It's accuracy at 25 yards is excellent. I have L size hands and that small pistol fits me splendidly.
If one learns how to disassemble it correctly (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mU6PgtmZ53I), there is no problem with cleaning whatsoever.
In the meantime, I purchased two more mags for a reasonable price (see pic of my M93):

I want one too! Lol

I can't accept the prices on the EE though. Seems they sell for significantly more then they cost new, and aren't much cheaper then the buckmarks or rugers... too bad, i really want a 22lr pistol but I'm too damn cheap for $400 lol

What ???? $400 for the M93??? No way Jose!

I have always claimed they were one of the best kept secrets in CA.

So what do you think they cost new? I think I paid $200 for my first one new from Dark International 10(?) years ago. It was my second handgun purchase.

Watch the EE, they surface from time to time. I've seen them go for $180 with one mag. Be ready to react if you really want one.

BTB - Mags will be a PITA to find. There are some are lemons out there. Trigger leaves a lot to be desired.
